2017 Releases: The Upcoming Air Jordans We’re Most Excited For

There are quite a few exciting Nike Air Jordans coming out in the upcoming year that we’re excited about. We’ll look into the most exciting new designs and rereleases below.

*Nike Air Jordan 15 ‘Stealth’

These Jordans are being reintroduced with a military style look to them. It’s returning with the original black colorway and has red accents. The shoe is built with the original stealth fighter inspiration for the 15’s kept in mind. Overall, a really sharp sneaker that melds the look of the classic 15’s with new accents. These are set for release on January 7th 2017.

*Nike Air Jordan 8 ‘Sequoia’

Set to release on January 28th 2017, these were originally dubbed ‘Undefeated’ because of how similar the look is to 2006’s Undefeated x Air Jordan 4s. The colorway is military flight-jacket inspired with bright orange, olive green, and black. These sneakers are mostly understated, with the orange accents calling just enough attention to them.

*Nike Air Jordan 4 ‘Royalty’

These sneakers are possibly the sharpest, flashiest, and most exciting that have been announced for 2017 so far. They hit shelves on February 5th 2017. The construction is black nubuck with metallic gold accents on the branding and wing inspired lace eyelets. Combined with the black on black mesh netting on the side panels, the overall design and construction of this shoe fits the name ‘Royalty’ well with a look that evokes luxury and status.

*Nike Air Jordan 13 ‘Chicago’

These are a rerelease of one of the Jordan brand’s most iconic looks. The “Bulls” color palette of red, white, and black returns (a look Jordan himself wore often on the courts). These are the first Air Jordan 13 Retro release since the Doernbecher and CP3’s that were rolled out in 2015. These hit shelves February 18th 2017.

*Nike Air Jordan 13 ‘Flint’

Yet another Air Jordan 13 retro release slated for 2017, and these are really exciting. The Flints were first released in 1998 and rereleased in 2010. Expected to have 3M reflective detailing and a holographic Jumpman, these are flashy and not to be missed. They’ll be on the shelves sometime in September of 2017.

*Nike Air Jordan 31 ‘Black Toe’

Another release in the Bulls palette of black, red, and white is hitting shelves on January 7th 2017. Featuring a translucent outsole and a black Flyweave toe that transitions to white leather at the heel, these are among the sharpest 31s ever seen. Red accents on the eyelets and trim round out the look and add a pop of brightness to the overall design.

*Nike Air Jordan 31 ‘Chinese New Year’

Releasing as a part of the ‘Chinese New Year’ collection, these shoes are unique and one of the most interesting designs releasing this year. The colorway is an intriguing black and white with a fresh bamboo trim. These have already hit the net on Jordan.com for China, and hit shelves January 7th 2017 in China and January 28th 2017 stateside.

*Nike Air Jordan 12 Low ‘Playoffs’

These sneakers don’t have a hard release date yet, we just know they’ll be hitting shelves sometime in 2017. A release of the iconic 12s in a low profile sneaker, they have a classic black and white color palette with red branding. Constructed of tumbled leather with a sharp red ’23’ on the heel and metal lace eyelets, these are sure to be in high demand.
